Hello
I am Kazim Noori, a former immigrant from Afghanistan, currently residing in Louisville, Kentucky. As a social entrepreneur, I am passionate about problem-solving to positively impact people's lives. With a background in software engineering, self-taught through my own dedication, and an MBA from the University of Louisville, I am committed to leveraging technology and business acumen for social good. Outside of work, I find peace in nature through hiking and love a good game of pool with friends. Through my journey, I strive to make meaningful contributions to my community and beyond.
My Story
My journey began in 2014 when I arrived in the United States as an immigrant from Afghanistan. Stepping off the plane, I was greeted by two volunteers at the airport, and in that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of welcome and support. It was then that I realized the incredible dedication and compassion of refugee resettlement workers. From that day forward, I knew that I wanted to dedicate my career to supporting these professionals who play such a vital role in the lives of refugees.
Since my first job in the field of refugee resettlement, over a decade ago, I have been deeply involved in this work. Witnessing firsthand the tireless efforts and unwavering commitment of resettlement workers, I was inspired to do more. In 2018, I founded Justify Solutions with a clear mission: to develop tools and software solutions to streamline and enhance the work of resettlement professionals. Today, the software solutions that we have designed are used by hundreds of resettlement organizations across ten states, empowering workers to serve refugees more effectively.
But my journey doesn't end there. With the launch of ResPros, I am excited to create a space where resettlement professionals can come together to exchange experiences, share best practices, and support one another. It's important to me that these incredible individuals, who often put the needs of others before their own, have a platform to prioritize their own well-being. As an immigrant myself, I understand the importance of self-care, especially in the face of the stressful and demanding nature of this work. Through ResPros, I hope to foster a community where resettlement professionals can find strength, support, and camaraderie as they continue their invaluable work in helping refugees rebuild their lives.
